The Logistics Department is the main hub for fuel options and information.

Transportation Overview

The Fuel Wiki page outlines the 3 available fuel types: Petrol, Natural Gas, and Batteries. The dropdown allows changing the global fuel storage to the selected resource type to be consumed by all production facilities when transporting resources.

Fuel Economy displays the relative measure of fuel efficiency, approximately how much fuel is required to move a resource a kilometer extrapolated, for the chosen fuel type. Fuel types with lower values result in a better fuel economy per unit of fuel. Fuel efficiency is covered in the Fuel Wiki page.

The green line graph displays total fuel storage of the selected fuel type over the last minute. The Y axis is truncated to better show a shift over time.

Battery In Storage displays the amount of global fuel storage.

The red line graph displays the change in the amount of stored fuel on a tick by tick basis. Values above the median line reflect a surplus of fuel being stored and below for deficits.

Below the red line graph are values for surplus, production, and consumption of fuel.

Fuel Cost Table

The Fuel Cost Table lists the top 20 resource transportation routes that take the longest time to transport, typically a byproduct of worse fuel efficiency.

Clicking on the left side highlights the output production facility and clicking on the right side highlights the destination's input production facility.

Mitigating large fuel costs from long resource transportation times can be achieved by utilizing the Warehouse.
