Warehouse
The Warehouse is a unique buildable structure that is neither a production facility nor special building, however does have a power usage that increases for every input route configured. By default it is locked until Researched at the Research Lab.
Input Routes
The Warehouse can configure transportation input routes to receive input from other production facilities. The Warehouse has a total input capacity that is divided equally across all input routes, limiting each route to its route input capacity. There is no output capacity or output routes and the resources stored in the Warehouse behave the same as the Trade Center's Freight Warehouse and storage at any production facility.
Upgrading the Warehouse increases the total input capacity, which is distributed equally to each route input capacity, the same as any of production facility input/output.
Level | Capacity |
---|---|
1 | 100/s |
2 | 200/s |
5 | 500/s |
10 | 2000/s |
20 | 6000/s |
40 | 20000/s |
Fuel Discount

Values used in this image are simplified and do not reflect exact gameplay values
The input transporation receives a fuel discount.
Upgrading the Warehouse increases the Fuel Save Discount, where each level increase has diminishing returns.
Level | Discount |
---|---|
1 | 3% |
2 | 5.5% |
5 | 11.1% |
10 | 16.6% |
20 | 22.2% |
40 | 26.6% |
Tips
- As the Warehouse's fuel discount only applies to input, it is best to place Warehouses next to the destination of the input resources resulting in a large input distance to the Warehouse and short output distance from the Warehouse. The longer input distance will have a greater fuel cost that will be reduced by the fuel discount.
- Warehouses excel at regulating throughput to be consistent. Several input routes of varying rates will be output from the Warehouse in steady intervals, providing consistency to for example Power Facilities input.
